Civilisation is coming to an end. While the Father experienced life before the apocalypse, the Son was born into an impoverished world in which the soil is barren, and hatred and savagery reign among those who survived. The death of his only relative gives a feral boy the pretext to journey beyond the confines of his home environment; only by doing this will he be able to decipher his father's journal, the most valuable artefact in his legacy. An adaptation of Gipi’s graphic novel of the same name, The Land of the Sons is a story of dystopia which can be taken both as fiction and as a cautionary vision of our own future. This singular contribution to the post-apocalyptic sci-fi genre is the fifth feature from Claudio Cupellini and also the acting debut of Italian rapper Leon Faun (Leon de La Vallée), who appears in the lead role.
