Synopsis
Alexandre O. Philippe is famous for his analytical documentaries about iconic works of cinema. This time around, he trains his lens on William Shatner, who left his mark on popular culture among other things as Captain James T. Kirk of Star Trek. As he looks back on his career, the television great known for captivating work with his own voice goes far beyond sharing tales from the set. You Can Call Me Bill presents the testimony of a man who intensely feels his own mortality and by the force of his personality and talent manages not only to endure this situation, but also to convey its weight.
