Like any good hardcore South Korean actioner, however, the film’s virtual intrigue is eventually resolved with a good old-fashioned shootout and bloody fist and knife fights. The Roundup franchise has attracted many fans in Korea and beyond with its straightforward, uncompromising action, and this latest instalment quickly became Korea’s second highest-grossing film of the year.
