Rose Byrne’s painfully candid performance earned her a Silver Bear at this year’s Berlinale. Shining alongside her are Conan O’Brien and A$AP Rocky. The camera’s hallucinogenic rhythm and the film’s oppressive atmosphere open up cracks between reality and madness until all that is left is an uneasy silence… and the ceiling, falling again and again.
