Despite the limitations he faces because he has Down’s syndrome, Beniamin dreams of becoming an actor. He shares a home with his father, who is a fixed point in his life, his safe harbor, someone who will always help and protect him. But now there is more at stake. Acting is a public activity, and as such it will subject Beniamin to the judgment of others. Will the father still protect his son, or will he allow him to follow his dreams even at the risk that of being hurt? Dominik Mirecki’s tender drama explores questions of parenthood and the choices we must make in order to give others the freedom to grow and mature.
