A showpiece of Kubrick’s legendary perfectionism, shot in natural light on a specially produced camera using sensitive lenses from NASA, the film earned four Oscars and a reputation as a feared duelist in the battle for the best film of all time. The Karlovy Vary festival will be screening a brand new restored copy.
