In 2025 we mark thirty years since the untimely death of an exceptional figure of Slovak culture, rock and art-rock musician and filmmaker Dezider Ursiny. Ursiny crowned his modest yet remarkable career as a documentarist with a film essay exploring fundamental issues of human existence and controversial themes such as freedom, death, love, suffering, dignity, euthanasia and suicide. With humility and a gift for crafting refined audiovisual commentary, joining Ivo Brachtl he gives the floor to thinker Eduard Tomáš, Rabbi Karol Sidon, and writers Daniela Hodrová and Daniela Fischerová.
