Synopsis

Hotel manager Lucius must come to terms with the loss of his life’s work, his home, and the home of his daughter. Is there a chance that the Argentine developer Facundo might change his plans to purchase the Intercontinental Hotel in order to demolish it and then build a reimagined version? How to differentiate between pathological obsession and simple human attachment or nostalgia? The poetic figures move through poetic images and break through the two-dimensionality of the screen in search of true depth. The film, which playfully incorporates documentary footage, premiered in the Orizzonti section at the Venice Film Festival.
