“Erosion is a slow process that we notice when things crumble or break.” Artist and animator Nicolas Piret once again demonstrates his remarkable craftsmanship and entirely understated technique as he returns to the theme of equilibrium between people and nature. On this occasion he takes us on a neat excursion to a deserted Venice, although there’s also something unsettling here. Eleven sheets of paper, countless enchantments – and the creative antithesis of the souvenir magnet.
