Synopsis

Documentary filmmaker John Wilson’s cinematic debut, shown at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, is a kind of personal epilogue to his successful series How To with John Wilson, which ran for three seasons on HBO. Working with an ironic contrast between the film’s images and its narration, he translates his unique way of seeing into a web of metaphors that explores the complexity of a world in which even something as solid and seemingly reliable as concrete crumbles and falls apart. Can we find answers from people who are dead certain of their view of the world?
