For us, this year’s partnership is a combination of continuity and new energy. We follow on strong history and traditions, but we also aim to introduce new impulses as to how the festival might evolve in the future and what it can offer.
Karlovy Vary has a unique atmosphere that brings together cinema, people, and unexpected moments. Every one of us takes home something different and personal. Here at Allwyn, we think about entertainment in the same way – as something capable of suprising us, of changing an ordinary moment into an exceptional experience.
As an entertainment company, our aim is to create special moments. By this, we don’t just mean grand gestures, but above all moments capable of entertaining or bringing joy. Our presence at the festival is as an entertainment partner who offers visitors something extra: playfulness, unexpected experiences, and joy from play, which naturally includes the chance to win prizes, whether at small contests or at other festival activities. This year as in the past, we want to be present in Vary in a way that feels natural while ensuring that everybody takes home something for themselves.
Also this year, we are continuing our support for promising directors through the Future Frames program. There is real value in providing a platform for emerging talents who are just starting out but who, even at the beginning of their careers, already have something to say. Their perspectives and stories are what keep the art of film moving forward.
It is important to us that the things we do have energy and entertain people. And that is exactly how we are approaching the festival this year as well.
