Dear Film Industry Professionals,

Welcome to KVIFF and its 58th summer!

This year, Industry at KVIFF will be slightly different to previous years. We will be in a brand new venue of the Imperial Spa / Kaiserbad (show on Google Maps) and we have geared all our preparations to use the entire potential of this generous space.

Under one roof, you will find a comfortable industry lounge for your interactions, a large auditorium aka The Film Industry Main Stage where the KVIFF Eastern Promises projects will be showcased and where our speakers will share their knowledge. Plus we offer an additional space – The Film Industry Workshop Stage – for sessions and talks that dive a little deeper.

Our KVIFF Eastern Promises platform continues to focus on the region of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Middle East. We’ve been working hard all year round to find and curate interesting projects in various stages of development and production, with the goal of sharing them with you in Karlovy Vary again this year.

Below you'll find our "signpost" of the most useful resources for this year's KVIFF, so that you can enjoy to the festival to the fullest. This year, we are moving the previously physical festival video library to the online platform Cinando. The video library will be open from June 28 to July 6 and will be accessible to all accredited film professionals attending the festival in person. You will receive an activation email a few days before the festival begins. As usual, the video library will screen films from all program sections. Premiere films will be available only after their first festival screening.
