The opening concert of the 56th KVIFF SymfoMIG, a performance by the band MIG 21 with more than 60 members of the National Theatre Orchestra and the 20-member National Theatre Choir under the direction of conductor Jaroslav Kyzlink, will be available for free in front of the Thermal Hotel. The unique performance, which will begin on Friday, July 1 at 10:45 p.m., will be also broadcast live on KVIFF.TV.
“Performing the opening concert of the 56th KVIFF with the orchestra of the National Theatre is one of the greatest possible honours for our dance, singing and stripper boy band from Prague 5 - Smíchov,” says Jiří Macháček, frontman of Mig 21. You can look forward to the band’s most famous hits in a new arrangement and also to a festive fireworks display that will light up the Karlovy Vary sky after the concert.
First-hand brews throughout the year.
