Andrew Renzi to present his debut with Richard Gere

June 22, 2015, 12:00

Director Andrew Renzi returns to Karlovy Vary with his first feature film, Franny.

Andrew Renzi studied creative writing with a concentration on screenwriting. As a producer he has collaborated on films such as Afterschool (2008) and Two Gates of Sleep (2010), which were made under the wing of Brooklyn-based production company Borderline Films. He directed the short films The Fort (2011) and Karaoke! (2013), both of which met with success at the Sundance festival. He has also produced and directed music videos for a number of artists. Fishtail, which was in competition at last year’s KVIFF, was his documentary debut.

Renzi returns to Karlovy Vary this year with his first feature film, Franny, which stars Richard Gere in the lead role and premiered worldwide in April of this year for audiences at the Tribeca film festival in New York.
