Milo

Midnight Screenings 2013 / Milo / USA 2013

Sometimes it’s difficult to keep your repressed emotions in check, especially if they’ve taken on a physical form as a hideous rectal demon living in your intestinal tract. This madcap comedy with a tinge of horror offers a healthy dose of fecal humor, with the occasional gnawed-off limb as a bonus.

Milo Milo

Synopsis

Sometimes it’s difficult to keep your repressed emotions in check, especially if they’ve taken on a physical form as a hideous rectal demon living in your intestinal tract. This has happened to Duncan, a congenital loser and office drone who has to deal with a dimwit colleague from work, a tyrannical and manipulative boss, and a burnt-out and eternally stoned hippie dad who ignores him. What’s more, Milo – as Duncan takes to calling his uninvited intestinal tenant – has bloodthirsty tendencies. Every night, he crawls out of his host’s rear in order to hunt down his helpless victims: Duncan’s enemies. Milo is soon out of control, and Duncan must find a way of reigning in his little demon, whatever it takes. This madcap comedy with a tinge of horror is a classic midnight romp that pokes fun at our stress-addled lives. Those unable to properly appreciate the film’s meditation on our fast-paced lives will certainly be satisfied with the film’s healthy dose of fecal humor and the occasional gnawed-off limb as a bonus.
