Synopsis
Austin-based artists and filmmakers Patrick Bresnan and Ivete Lucas join forces to make remarkably cinematic, thickly atmospheric non-fiction films. Over several years, Bresnan and Lucas have focused on the residents of an old sugar cane plantation town in Florida where isolation and poverty exist alongside resilience, community, and creativity.
