A Quiet Place A Quiet Place

Synopsis

Could it ever happen that something we call a disability might become an indispensable survival trait? Since Their arrival on Earth, it has become essential to remain silent. Even the smallest sound can attract Their attention – and certain death. The Abbot family’s eldest daughter was born deaf, and their knowledge of sign language protects them. But the question is for how long… Director, actor and screenwriter John Krasinski has shot an atmospheric and inventive horror film – one that helps to socially normalize sign language and the hearing-impaired. Deaf actress Millicent Simmonds excels in the main role.
