Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am glad that this year the ČEZ Group is again supporting the film arts and partnering with the Czech Republic’s most prestigious cinematic event, the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. For me as a film lover and a fan of the unique atmosphere of this spa town, the festival is one of the year’s top events, and it is an honor that our company can once again be a part of it.
As in the past, the ČEZ Group is planning a diverse program for visitors to the festival’s sixtieth edition. At ČEZ World of Energy, they can explore electricity’s path from its source to the outlets in their homes by taking a new virtual reality tour of our distribution network.
We are also bringing back the popular virtual tours of our nuclear power plants and of the technical marvel that is the Dlouhé stráně pumped-storage plant.
Festivalgoers can enjoy all these experiences thanks to our VR goggles, which let them visit some of our country’s most guarded sites – places ordinary mortals rarely have a chance to visit – straight from Karlovy Vary.
Additionally, the ČEZ Group is once again partnering with the festival’s bicycle rental stations. Thanks to the ČEZ Foundation, your physical activity supports selected charitable projects and provides help to the needy.
