Synopsis
Doctor Michel Durand is beginning to be seriously bored by his job as a stereotypical psychoanalyst. It frequently happens that while listening to his patients’ problems he falls into a kind of narcoleptic state accompanied by ever weirder dreams. One day he accepts a new patient named Olga Kubler, an attractive, mysterious and rather mad young woman who confides two problems to him: first, she’s a kleptomaniac and, second, she vexes her husband, the influential and filthy rich Max, with her uncommon ideas about love. Yet not even the seductive Olga can prevent Dr Durand from falling into his usual half-conscious, dreamlike state in which the border between reality and fantasy has dissolved. When Durand snaps out of it he finds Olga still lying on the couch, but to his horror she’s dead. Another patient knocks on the door. Durand must act quickly and that’s when the trouble begins.
