At first glance, Katarina and Peter have a happy and well-functioning marriage. They have two adolescent daughters, Eva and Nina, who are a delight for them, rewarding jobs, a flat, a car… In short, all the good things in life. But their relationship, after years of living together, is stuck in the shallows of boredom and stereotypes. They’ve done everything, they’ve seen it all before, and their days together are desparately uninspiring. They are aware of their good sides, but see only the bad.
