During a busy shift at the comic book store, Chuck gets a call from her friend Sam, a camp counselor who tells her that somebody has just killed most of his campers. Chuck is an expert in horror stories, and together they set out on the trail of the mysterious killer. Or maybe he’s not so mysterious after all…
Synopsis
“Are you holding a weapon of any kind?” Chuck asks her friend Sam, who has called her in the middle of a busy evening with the news that a mass murderer is loose at his summer camp. Sam is suffering from amnesia and isn’t totally sure what happened, but Chuck is a big fan of classic slasher movies, and so, while the violence at the camp escalates, she comes to his aid over the phone. This inventive meta-horror comedy plays with all the usual slasher stereotypes, taking us nostalgically back to a time of simpler genre classics that were also more entertaining. So pack your sleeping bag and rain poncho, we’re off to camp!
