Synopsis
On a dusty road in India, two bandits and a corrupt cop are among the characters fighting over a stolen watch and wallet. Asif Kapadia signed up as producer, returning the favour to Kumar who served as associate director on his own multi-award-winning The Warrior.
About the director
Amit Kumar studied film direction at India’s National Film Institute, and now divides his time between London and Mumbai. The Bypass won Best Film and Best Cinematography at the Kodak BAFTA Showcase for Shorts and was screened at the Kodak European Showcase for New Talent at Cannes. He is currently working on his first feature, The Monsoon Shootout.
