At 2:00 p.m., the Czech premiere of Caravan – fresh from its debut in Cannes – will screen in the Grand Hall. The filmmakers will join two discussions during the day: the first at 11:30 a.m. at innogy Point, and the second at 5:00 p.m. at the Czech Television House. You can also join a 3:00 p.m. debate about the film 1+1+1 at the same venue.

As for world premieres, two new entries in the Crystal Globe Competition will be presented today: Don’t Call Me Mama (5:00 p.m.) and Bidad (8:00 p.m.). Meanwhile, the Proxima section continues at the Karlovy Vary Theatre with the world premieres of Thus Spoke the Wind (4:00 p.m.) and Future Future (7:00 p.m.).

Today’s KVIFF Talk program includes three special events: a conversation with director Michel Franco at 11:00 a.m. in the Vodafone Lounge, a discussion with the creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Cinematic Cut at 3:30 p.m. in Kaiserbad, followed by the ceremonial world premiere of the film adaptation of the hit video game at 7:00 p.m., also at Kaiserbad. A talk with filmmakers Dužan Duong and Katarína Gramatová, whose debut works are featured in the Special Screenings section, will start at 12:30 p.m. in KVIFF.TV Park.

There is even more happening at KVIFF.TV Park. As part of today’s Meet & Greet session, you can meet the creators of Crystal Globe Competition films When a River Becomes the Sea (11:30 a.m.) and Rebuilding (1:30 p.m.) that premiered yesterday. At 2:30 p.m., the KVIFF X space welcomes Jiří Mádl, director, actor, and a member of this year’s Crystal Globe Competition jury.

At 3:00 p.m., do not miss a special dance performance by the Prague Wheelchair Sports Club at the Mill Colonnade, joined by StarDance winners Kateřina Bartuněk Hrstková and Oskar Hes.

The evening concerts at Mattoni Life Bar feature Pam Rabbit (6:00 p.m.) and Calin, the genre-blending rapper and singer (9:00 p.m.). Do you prefer comedy over music? Head to the Congress Hall at midnight, where Arnošt Frauenberg will perform his stand-up special to close out the day with laughs.
